Cathleen Ní Houlihan
Cathleen Ní Houlihan: one myth, two fates. Inspired by Ireland’s legendary personification and Yeats’s play, the ballet explores how two people can encounter the same truth and perceive different facets of it. Through Cathleen’s dual image as Crone and Maiden, suffering meets beauty, dispossession meets sovereignty, and sacrifice is weighed against the meaning we find within it.
El Amor Brujo
Inspired by Manuel de Falla’s El Amor Brujo, this one-act ballet enters a world of passion, memory, and haunting, where love struggles against the lingering presence of the past. Drawing upon Spanish and flamenco traditions through a theatrical lens, the work explores desire, possession, liberation, and the transformative power of love.
Lys Mykyta | Mykyta the Fox
Inspired by Ivan Franko’s beloved Lys Mykyta, this theatrical suite brings the cunning Fox Mykyta to life through a series of comic and dramatic vignettes. Moving through encounters with Wolf, Bear, Lion, and Lioness, Mykyta navigates each predicament not through strength, but through wit, audacity, adaptability, and a remarkable ability to read—and outmaneuver—those encountered along the way.
Shchedryk | Carol of the Bells
Created in honor of the 105th anniversary of Shchedryk’s historic 1922 Carnegie Hall performance, this piece celebrates the Ukrainian song that would later become known around the world as Carol of the Bells. Centered on the traditional image of the swallow bringing wishes of abundance to a household, the work honors Ukrainian ritual, family, renewal, and the enduring journey of one of Ukraine’s most recognized melodies.

An original folk dance suite celebrating America's 250th anniversary through the folk traditions of Shaker communities, the American frontier, Irish, Mexican, German, and Ukrainian cultures, culminating in the Ukrainian ceremony of bread and salt.
At the Threshold
At the Threshold distills a single moment of transformation from Cinderella Abstraction, presenting the Fairy Godmother as a quiet presence of awakening. Set to Prokofiev, the miniature reflects on courage, becoming, and the inner grace already carried within.
Cassandra
Cassandra distills the inner life of a woman marked by prophecy — one who sees clearly, speaks truthfully, and bears the sorrow of not being believed. Inspired by Lesia Ukrainka, the miniature reflects on vision, isolation, and tragic clarity.
Pryvit
Pryvit (Welcome) is a ceremonial Ukrainian welcome dance celebrating hospitality, regional diversity, and cultural unity. Through graceful processions, regional dance motifs, and the traditional presentation of bread and salt, the work warmly invites audiences into the spirit of Ukrainian culture.
Stone Host
Stone Host is a cross-cultural choreographic collaboration inspired by Lesia Ukrainka's powerful reimagining of the Don Juan legend. Blending Ukrainian and Latin dance traditions, the miniature explores desire, choice, and the enduring power of human connection.
