About the event
The UAHF Ukrainian Dance Camp Capstone Performance is the culminating presentation of the week’s artistic work, created and performed by this year’s camp participants through a program of dance and song. Presented on the Fourth of July, this year’s capstone honors the 250th anniversary of American independence, the 35th anniversary of Ukrainian independence, and the 155th anniversary of Lesia Ukrainka, one of Ukraine’s most beloved poets, dramatists, and literary voices. Reflecting themes of heritage, freedom, cultural memory, and artistic legacy, the performance offers a resonant and celebratory conclusion to the week.
