Event Summary
I am honored that Ballet Theatre of Maryland has selected my original one-act ballet, Macbeth, for its traditional Labor Day weekend performances at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.
Created with support from the Mark Ryder Original Choreography Grant from the Howard County Arts Council, Macbethreimagines Shakespeare’s tragedy through movement, theatrical imagery, and choreographic storytelling. I will also make a brief cameo appearance in character as William Shakespeare to introduce the ballet and invite audiences to learn more about Ballet Theatre of Maryland.
Performances will take place at the Globe Theatre during the Maryland Renaissance Festival.
