Nocturne presents the close of the enchanted midsummer night, when Oberon and Titania reconcile and harmony returns to the forest. Drawn from the full-length ballet A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the work distills Shakespeare’s world into a lyrical miniature of forgiveness, renewal, and restored balance. As the fairy king and queen are reunited, their love radiates through the natural world, allowing the next day to dawn in peace.
