Pryvit (“Welcome”) is a ceremonial Ukrainian welcome dance celebrating hospitality, regional diversity, and cultural unity. Bringing together dancers representing Podillia, the Carpathian highlands, and Central Ukraine, the work highlights the distinctive character of each region while honoring the shared traditions that unite them.

At the heart of the dance is the presentation of bread and salt, a cherished symbol of welcome, friendship, and respect. Presided over by a ceremonial hostess in traditional Poltava attire, Pryvit unfolds through graceful processions, regional dance motifs, and festive ensemble passages, offering audiences a warm invitation into the spirit of Ukrainian culture.
